Welded Executive Bookcases offer sleek, contemporary radius edged top blends with any style of office furniture. Optional, tempered safety glass doors easily slide open from either side and offer protection for contents.
Keyed lock prevents unauthorized entry to glass door bookcases. Built-in shelf support tabs mean no clips to lose. Shelves are flush to the side of the unit to ensure no gaps. Shelves are easily adjustable to accommodate most materials, reference books, binders, trophies, etc. Fully welded, bolt free construction ensures a clean, sturdy and professional appearance. Raised bottom provides extra strength and allows for easy retrieval of materials. Durable shelves have 150 lb. capacity, evenly distributed. Meets ANSI BIFMA test standards.

Adjustable Shelves - Each shelf adjusts vertically in 2-5/64" to accommodate materials of any size. Shelves can also be adjusted on 12-1/2" centers which are clearly identified perfect for binders.

Welded Executive Bookcases Specifications
Materials: Glassdoor bookcases are fabricated of high quality, cold rolled carbon steel, free of scale or rust and fully pickled. Exposed edges, corners and surface areas are free of sharp edges. Glass doors are made of tempered safety glass (4 gauge) that provides protection from dust and other contaminants. All workmanship is of the highest quality as measured by the industry.
Finish: All steel components shall be thoroughly cleaned and phosphatized for rust resistance in a five-stage pre-treatment process. A high grade of polyester/epoxy powder paint is to be applied electrostatically with a gloss reading of between 55 and 65. The finish shall have a salt spray rating of 250 hours or more.
Shelves: The 18 gauge shelves are 12-3/4" deep and flanged on both sides for locking into the end bracket lances, which allow the shelves to be adjustable at 2" intervals. They also have a box formation in the fornt and rear and are capable of supporting 50 lbs. per linear foot.
Bottom: The bottom is made of 22 gauge steel. It is flanged on all sides with a box formation to keep materials 2" off the floor.
Back: The back is made of 22 gauge steel, flanged at the bottom with a channel formation in front.
Sides: The 20 gauge sides are flanged at the top, bottom and rear, with a channel formation in front.
Top: The 20 gauge steel top is flanged in front and back and sleekly rounded on top to blend with any style of office furniture.
Sliding Door: The tempered glass doors glide on a rigid PVC track. The track is impregnated with oil to facilitate easy movement. Finger pulls are bonded to the face of the glass doors.
Locks: Doors are equipped with a plunger lock with adjustable bar to prevent unauthorized access.
