Welded Bookcases 18" Deep
Stylish welded bookcases are great for storing items with a larger profile; also has a raised base and can be fitted with casters for mobility. Shelf capacities up to 150 lbs. per shelf, evenly distributed. All steel welded bookcase offers a unique 18" depth and 35-7/8" width that allows a wide range of materials, binders, ledgers etc. to be stored safely. You can place all types of materials especially those that have a large footprint, large legal format folders, expandable envelopes or any other larger media, you’ll be pleased that our welded bookcases help your materials remain safe from overhanging folders. Welded Bookcases available in 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 openings. Each shelf adjusts vertically in 2-5/64" increments to accommodate materials of any size. Shelves can also be adjusted on 12-1/2" centers which are clearly identified, perfect for binders. Shelves have multiple bends at front and rear for additional strength. Raised base Keeps materials safe from mops and damaging cleaners.

18" Deep Welded Bookcase Specifications
Materials: Welded Bookcases are fabricated of high quality, cold rolled carbon steel, free of scale or rust, and fully pickled. Exposed edges, corners, and surface areas are free of sharp edges and all workmanship is of the highest quality as measured by the industry.
Finish: All steel components shall be thoroughly cleaned and phosphatized for rust resistance in a five-stage pre-treatment process. A high grade of polyester/epoxy powder paint is to be applied electrostatically with a gloss reading of between 55 and 65. The finish shall have a salt spray rating of 250 hours or more.
Sides: Sides are formed from 24 gauge steel and have 25/32" 90 degree flanges on the bottom. The sides have a 90 degree flange on the back for strength and an offset on the front to allow the side to fit flush with the header and sill. Each side has dog-ear strips to secure the shelves in place and allow for shelf adjustability on 2" centers.
Back: Backs are formed using 24 gauge steel and have a 7/8" flange on bottom. Back is inserted to a fixture and spot welded to inside flange of sides, top and bottom shelf of units for strength and durability.
Top: Tops are formed using 22 gauge steel and have 1-11/16" box formation on front and 15/16" 90 degree flange on back and sides. Top has manufacturer’s name plate on front of box
formation.
Sill: The sill is 20 gauge steel formed into a 4" wide and 1-3/32 deep "C" channel formation having a 47/64" angle formation off the top leg of the sill.
Bottom: Bottoms are formed using 20 gauge steel and have 1-1/32" 90 degree flange on all sides.
Shelves: Shelves are formed using 20 gauge steel and have 3/4" 90 degree flange on sides and rear. The front of shelf has a 3/4" box formation for added strength. The shelf hooks into the dog ear lances on the sides and back and are adjustable on 2" centers.
