Suspension members are formed from 14-gauge cold-rolled steel and painted to prevent rust. Upon opening the drawer or rollout, the intermediate and inner member roll out together. After a certain travel point, the inner member extends from the intermediate member to provide the strength to support the drawers fully loaded. Suspensions are held to the cabinet inner panel by a unique hook and slot arrangement and then secured with one screw at the front. Drawers and rollouts drop into place on the suspensions by hand, making fild installation a simple matter. All suspensions support BIFMA load requirements and are equipped with rubber cushioned stops on both ends for quiet operation. SAFETY INTERLOCKS Elite Cabinets with more than one drawer/shelf rollout will be equipped with a mechanical interlock device. The interlock device prevents more than one drawer/shelf rollout from being extended simultaneously. The interlock system is incorporated into the drawer or rollout suspension. Roll-out components should be located adjacent to each other to insure proper function of the interlock mechanism. GANGLOCK ASSEMBLY An optional central locking mechanism will secure all doors and drawers with a single action. Locks will be keyed alike. Horizontal lock arms engage vertical lock bars which are attached to the cabinet side panel. For all lockable units the standard key is D101AR. Contact American Filing Solutions for special keyed locks. SWINGAWAY LOCK ASSEMBLY - RFQ CALL FOR PRICING Security bar locks provide a greater degree of security than a standard ganglock assembly. Two hinged assemblies mount to the front of the cabinet, one on each side. The hinges close over the face of the receding doors and are retained in position by a self-storing cross bar. The cross bar is secured in place by a customer supplied padlock. Hinges overlap the door by 11-1/16" on each side. Security bar locks are field installed and require drilling.
