Dimension (A) is the overall width of the starter section in each row of cabinetry. Each additional unit is the overall size (B). This is because the point of each file nests into the file next to it.

Stackable Shelving Legal-Size Slant Tiers Open Shelf Filing
Legal Depth Slant Tier Stackable Shelving is designed for use with color-coded files. The shelves are parallelogram-shaped, with the slant of the cabinet causing each folder to extend past the one next to it. Shelves are tilted slightly downward and angled from left to right making files more visible.
Slant Files legal depth is 12-1/2" deep and 10-3/4" clearance height for pocket-style file folders. Optional work shelves provide a rollout work surface at the cabinet and allow both hands to be free for filing. Optional spacers offer storage for "to be filed" material and "out folders". Heavy-duty 18-gauge steel. Slant files are modular so they can be stacked for easy expansion and moving.
Also available in Letter Depth (10" deep) and X-ray Files Depth (15" deep).
