Attractive polished chrome handle with lock activates the cabinet’s three-point locking mechanism for maximum security. Reinforced doors provide strength & durability. Built-in shelf support tabs secure shelves tightly to cabinet without clips or added parts. Heavy duty leaf hinges assure doors stay aligned. Raised base keeps materials out of harm’s way. Meets ANSI BIFMA test standards. Shelf capacity 18" deep holds 150 lbs., 24" deep holds 200 lbs. evenly distributed. All units are 36" wide. Available in two depths 18" or 24" deep; and three heights 30", 42" and 72" high. Materials: Standard Cabinets are fabricated of high quality, cold rolled carbon steel, free of scale or rust and fully pickled. Exposed edges, corners and surface areas are free of sharp edges and all workmanship is of the highest quality as measured by the industry. Finish: All steel components shall be thoroughly cleaned and phosphatized for rust resistance in a five-stage pre-treatment process. A high grade of polyester/epoxy powder paint is to be applied electrostatically with a gloss reading of between 55 and 65. The finish shall have a salt spray rating of 250 hours or more. Sides: 24 gauge, flanged at bottom and rear, channel formation in front. Doors: 24 gauge, flanged at top, bottom and rear. Channel formation at edges. Door strike on left hand door is hemmed for smooth edge. Reinforced with full length stiffener. Hinges: Separable two piece hinge. Lower half welded to sides. Upper half welded to door. Three hinges per door on 72" cabinets, 2 per door on 42" and 30" cabinets. Handle: Die cast chromium plated with bolt in lock. Recessed Handle Unit: 3-1/2" diameter recessed handle with built-in lock for right hand door. Locking Mechanism: Three point with 5/8" x 1/8" flat bar and nylon silencer. Top: The top is 20 gauge steel, formed into a "C" channel formation, having an offset for a continuous door strike. The top is slotted to accept the lock bar from the three-point locking system. Studs are prewelded to the underside of the KD top for assembly. Studs are not present on welded cabinets. Top surface is free of holes and visible attachment hardware. Bottom: 22 gauge, flanged on all sides. Sill: 22 gauge, channel formation with return flange for door strike. Flanged at ends, with slot to accept lock bar from three-point locking system. Resistance welded studs attach to the inside face of unassembled units. Back: 24 gauge, flanged at bottom. Shelf: 18" Shelves are 20 gauge, 24" Shelves are 22 gauge, flanged at rear and ends. Box formation at front. Adjustable on 2" increments. Partition: 22 gauge, flanged at top, bottom and rear. Hemmed in front. Partition Shelf: 22 gauge, flanged at rear and ends. Channel formation at front. Adjustable on 2" increments. Shelf Strip: 22 gauge. Nuts & Bolts: #8-32 x 1/2" slotless head bolts with hex nuts. No exposed bolt heads. Optional Cabinet Caster Kit.
